What is MYG?
Mid Year Getaway is a weekend long getaway run by Uni Impact for students to learn more about God and enjoy Christian community.
This is the perfect opportunity for anyone who wants to grow in their knowledge of God, to be equipped to live out their faith for the rest of their life, or anyone looking to get a taste of what Christianity is all about!

Over the weekend will listen to some Bible talks, have small group discussions, and enjoy meals together (all food provided). We will have lots of free time to get to know each other better or play a game of cards. There might even be a game of frisbee, some coffee and fudge, or a walk to a waterfall!


FAQs

How much does it cost?
There is an early bird discount, and the price will be $75 for those that sign up before 29th May. After this date, the discount will expire and the price will be $100.

Where is it happening?
MYG will take place at Mt Tamborine Conference Centre, about an hour south of Brisbane.

What is the accommodation like?
Students will stay in dorms, and we will use the meeting rooms for talks and meals. There is a lot of outdoor space for playing frisbee or soccer, a firepit for toasting marshmallows, and some beautiful scenic views nearby.

What should I bring?
We will be sure to send out information closer to MYG that includes a suggested packing list. This will be items such as warm clothes, towel and toiletries, and bedding such as sheets, a sleeping bag/blanket, and a pillow. There is no need to bring food as all meals and snacks will be provided.
